Gore is one way. But I’d argue you can have gore without horror. So don’t lean on gore to provide horror- it won’t work. Horror is…horrifying. It’s often existential, its loss of control, over our bodies, life, mind, the world, the cosmos. The terrifying things that we have little control over.

Going shockingly well thank you! Novel in the wings, and short stories coming. Might make a career out of this yet 🤔
