Everyone is looking at this all wrong. This new Meta policy is a great! Instead of wondering if something posted on any Meta property was completely fact-checked and thus trustworthy, we now know not to believe a word you read there.

I knew I was old when I started seeing “Antique” car license plates on cars that I remembered the year they were introduced.

First, put a tariff (a/k/a a tax) on tons of products which will increase the price. Even a domestic supplier, who is protected by the tariff, will get to charge more.

Then, for good measure, let’s deport a large part of a lower cost workforce. This will also raise costs of goods.
