Yeah, so that “center” is just the midpoint between your minimum and maximum values, right? And so very sensitive to outliers…

What is "the center" though? Depends on what you're measuring, I guess. But if you're just talking about distributions in the vague, the peak or the mean seems like a reasonable "center".

If they were all drawn with the peak at the center of the image it might make more sense?

Here's some of what I picked up before the clouds rolled in. This is 9 minutes of migrating birds played back at 20x speed with trails to emphasize their movements. So many birds up there - this is a pretty narrow field of view! #birds

I am extremely interested in the 300-600. I've rented the 600 f/4 before and it's just too damn big for regular use IMO. And being able to zoom out is often important. I am assuming the 300-600 will be very sharp and work well with teleconverters.

I dunno if this is the same style of chair you were referring to. 😅 I feel like there were several types of woven chairs. Definitely an aluminum frame though.

Just stumbled on this photo of me sitting in one of those chairs. I can still imagine opening it and the feel of it. This was a long one that had multiple positions.
