My gosh. After the US bombed multiple boats in the middle of the ocean, murdering people on grounds that they were allegedly "carrying drugs," the US Attorney General says "Just like we did with cartels, we're going to take the same approach, President Trump, with Antifa."

Own a property but don't want to clean up your own autumn leaves?

Now that's a real problem.

Never seen four words that sum up Stephen Holyday better.

Can't find a place to live? That's not my problem.
Can't stop cars from killing you? That's not my problem.
Stuck on a bus forever? That's not my problem.
Children can't get food to eat? That's not my problem.

"I've had smaller developers mention to me that, you know, what a burden the DCs are on them kicking off their project, because they'd like to see it financially viable. And my response is, 'That's not my problem,'" says Holyday

Why do people feel like having loud, angry phone conversations on transit? Apart from bothering everyone else, do they not care about everyone else knowing their business?

Trump: "We took the freedom of speech away because that's been through the courts and the courts said you have freedom of speech, but what has happened is when they burn a flag it agitates and irritates crowds."

Councillor Chernos Lin asks about the highest speed recorded by Toronto's speed cameras. Transportation General Manager Barbara Gray says it was 187 km/h in a 50 km/h zone at Midland & Montgomery — on Jan 25 at 10 p.m.

"That's shocking," says Chernos Lin.

Wow, imagine thinking it's acceptable to OWN a potato. I mean honestly

if you’re writing a sentence that sounds like cannibalism but you go “oh that’s fine to say because it’s a potato” (whatever that means) you may want to consider what made you okay with saying that

Ah, the old "if we pretend you said something completely different, then that would imply the consequences of the thing we're pretending you said instead of the thing you actually said"

I did not see until now that he was asked about it on Fox News. Instead of denying he took $50,000 cash in a bag, he insists that he didn't do anything illegal.

That is a very unusual way for someone who did not take $50,000 cash in a paper bag to react to that question. www.cbc.ca/news/world/u...

Welch asks what happened to $50,000 in cash Trump's border czar Tom Homan is accused of taking.

Bondi: That was resolved prior to my confirmation as Attorney General.

Welch: There's $50,000. Homan has it or somebody has it. Do you have no interest in knowing where it is?

Bondi: [deflects]

Welch: "Is there a tape of Mr. Homan that has audio and video of the transfer of the $50,000?"

Bondi: "I don't know the answer."

Welch: "You do know the answer."

Bondi: "Don't call me a liar!"

Welch: "I didn't call you a liar?"

Bondi: "You just said I know the answer!"
