@thurrott.bsky.social I'm not insider, I have local account had to download ISO and got 25H2. Watermark insists it is insider preview, but it's not. I tweaked it to show watermark so I can see what I need. If you're interested per WW.

@thurrott.bsky.social speaking of pipelines, while I was having my FOS repiped, I had to wonder if plumbers ever have pipe dreams. Not the worst of it, but all finally replaced and all buttoned back up. Glad it's over with. All ABS crap in here now.

Like things I did with Mother's telephone lines when I was a kid. Rigged a blue light on my desk phone power over the telephone line cord. I did use the yellow & black wires since we only had one line. But a hum on the line. Drilled a hole right side faceplate, blue snap in from Radio Shack.

Listening to Windows Weekly with @thurrott.bsky.social but WITHOUT @richcampbell.bsky.social on vacation. So it is NOT the good ole days. Also no Mary Jo Foley. I am back in my Fortress but NOTHING like it was. Better in some ways worse in others. I miss Mister too.

Hopefully re establishing my fortress of solitude in the basement. Having the pipes fixed so the sewer doesn't back up again. Just look at this mess they had to make to fix it. Concrete getting repoured tomorrow and that mess being cleaned up. I hope.
