Went to the cemetery with a friend to check out some old time ancestor but he got angrier and angrier when he couldn't find it, kicking headstones and all, even though he swore he'd visited before.
He completely lost the plot.

Some of the extraordinary mosaics at the Villa Romana del Casale in Sicily. I've never seen so many intact, high quality Roman mosaic work. Room after room of the most intricate creations. Astonishing.

The roses continue to bloom. This is Madame Isaac Péreire, an old Bourbon rose, first bred in 1841, which is reputed to have the strongest perfume of any rose. It has many petals in an almost magenta pink. Glorious.
