Today's Queer Community Boots & Coat Drive went well. I was thrilled that we got so many donations and that folks stopping by talked and made connections. My time today was well-spent.

I am really glad that I went to see The Laramie Project tonight at McDowell High School. The students did an amazing job, and I was blinking back tears on more than one occasion. I went with friends from Erie Gay News and Aging with Pride. Kudos to everyone who brought this very timely work to life!

I was talking with the woman who rinsed me at Hair Cutz today. We talked about cats. She mentioned that she has a black cat born without eyes that she got from her parents. Her cat's name is Ray Charles. It sounds like a very well-loved feline!
