Only because it was stupid.

They were so, so close to getting to the truth of the thing. Hamstrung in the final mile by the very effect they are unwittingly describing

That looks just like the boat my great grandparents took to America!

And your cognitive dissonance is incredible. Are you happy or unhappy that he left the race? Based on just these couple tweets, it’s impossible to understand where you might stand on the matter
January 5, 2026 at 5:20 PM
Whatever nonsense you are spewing has essentially nothing to do with the topic at hand. A common fallacy of your type, nothing sensible to say on this situation? Just start regurgitating bullshit about something else.
January 5, 2026 at 5:19 PM
What are you even babbling about? This man has been abused, threatened, and he and his family are suffering. He didn’t stand much chance of winning a third bid anyway (unprecedented). So he stepped back to protect himself and his family and open the path for another.

What? You ignorant doomers who believe there is no solution are the real problem. Oh well things look bad guess we should just give up. Just take yourself out and be done with it.

“I don’t know much about facts, but my emotions command my actions.”
January 5, 2026 at 5:03 PM
So many ignorant assholes with no perspective on the situation making absolutely idiotic statements. We need a new party.
January 5, 2026 at 5:02 PM
Very astute. 🙄

Shut up
January 5, 2026 at 4:58 PM
He’s still a man, a father, a husband. So things considered, it seems as if his election was nowhere near guaranteed, and he and his family were legitimately suffering. Passing the baton seems reasonable both personally and politically.

No convictions, no morals, no values. Just money.

I couldn’t vote for him, but I would have, and I feel embarrassed about it every time I’m reminded of his existence.
January 5, 2026 at 4:49 PM
I feel so embarrassed that I once felt hopeful for this guy.
January 5, 2026 at 4:48 PM
In addition to being a moron, I guess you’re also a dick. I mentioned precision exactly once (if you don’t understand the value of precision then you never stood a chance of understanding any of my arguments), and gave several other points earlier. Closing with a logical fallacy was a special touch

I mean… when you check the temp are concerned with your body literally freezing or boiling off all its water? Come on. Either you’re not arguing in good faith, or something else. I dunno. Anyway, we can agree to disagree on how much precision we prefer in our measurements.
December 25, 2025 at 6:30 PM
lol ok. I see what I’m dealing with now
December 25, 2025 at 6:16 PM
Then consider how relevant that is to measuring air temperature on earth. Not very.
December 25, 2025 at 1:54 PM
I guess, in as objective a way as possible, consider why the range of Celsius was chosen. To easily identify the physical state of water relative to temperature measurement. It’s no accident that 0 is freezing and 100 is boiling. It’s an intuitive range, easy to reason with and operate on.
December 25, 2025 at 1:54 PM
We could use 345 for freezing point and 360 for boiling, but you might imagine that would be awkward and inconvenient to use.
December 25, 2025 at 2:39 AM
I mean, you don’t NEED any particular scale to describe temp, as long as we agree on what it means. The point is Fahrenheit is much more friendly for describing common air temperatures, with a simple, intuitive scale of 0-100, which feels very natural to base 10 counters.
