I feel like BK is the perfect length, the worlds aren't super big, there's not a ton of backtracking like BT and DK64, it's just a pain to get all 100 notes on every world in one life, which the XBLA version fixes by saving the notes and the Switch Online version at least lets you save state/rewind.

I played it a year and a half ago and it ~mostly~ holds up IMO.
Tooie I feel would hold up significantly less if I ever get around to replaying it.
