In our rapidly warming climate, trees aren't going to drop their leaves until December, so if street sweeping shuts down in late September/early October that's going to result in streets & sidewalks covered in decomposing leaf litter mud.

What about delivery cyclists doing there jobs? The point was that you can’t accept blocked car lanes and you want to force cyclists to have to get out of the way. You are being an entitled brat.

The only reason those gaps exist is for alleys/driveways and bus stops, so the UPS truck is blocking both the bike lane and vehicle access to businesses or garages. But we’re entitled for trying to use the bike lane.

I usually take a later train in the morning but the 5:32 was so packed, I’ve never seen so many people standing in the vestibule

I haven’t seen it recently west of Clark but I don’t think so. They were out doing green paint on Clark a few weeks back so maybe. I know for sure they haven’t striped Glenwood either since it was repaved.

Are the taxpayers paying for you to respond to posts like this? I want to ask you how many miles of protected bike lanes can you build per year now that you slashed the infrastructure bond that funds them?

That quote is clever PR, but I would argue it is inaccurate to say the street entrances are “directly connected” when there will be separate entrances at street level. It’s the opposite of a direct connection.

My favorite is the combination of Please exit through the rear door to make boarding faster and 🚨🚨🚨Do not stand in the rear door area!

This is the only reason I’ve called the Divvy phone number and I’ve done it at least 3x this year. Now they have a goddamn AI answering I lost it

I wonder if it’s still a big fat zero for the 47th. I just got hit with a warm weather closure today.
