I strongly agree with others that here that we should scrap the USA-built F-35 due to latest annexation and tariff threats. How about the Saab Gripen? Also what about drones? Maybe we can be a world leader in arctic military drone construction. Let's get the ball rolling!

With all due respect, 2% by 2030 is too little too late. Unfortunately, Canada has dropped the ball on military spending for too long (decades). We should have been meeting the 2% target all along as a minimum. As a middle class citizen, I am willing to do my part financially to make this happen.

No point sending more envoys to Washington.
