These are the powerful voices of M'ANAM, part of the ANÚNA Collective alongside Systir and ANÚNA itself, singers brought together with a vision that binds them across the world. Soloist is Noah Thys in his own arrangement of the 12th century poem by Hildegard of Bingen "O Frondes Virga". M'ANAM

ANÚNA are releasing this next week for Easter. www.anuna.ie/sanctum - "Quis est Deus" by myself - an oldie with a very oldie text from the 8th century.

And you may ask yourself where this new release came from. Being honest, so am I - this is Sanctum, a 14 track compilation of my spiritual music with early Irish arrangements, and a few new tracks. It appears next week appropriately on Good Friday on streaming services and Bandcamp.

This is me doing arty stuff in The Tyrone Guthrie Centre in Co Monaghan all this week. This week I'm putting the finishing touches to a new piece and the artwork for a new collection of music I'm releasing, eh, next week or so.

Is there any way to not be a chaotic mess?

Creating Echoes of Ireland - The Music of Michael McGlynn was a revelation. 35 years ago, my music for Anúna showed what Irish choral music could be. Proud to have explored that path first. Stunning "Port na bPucaí" by Caitríona Sherlock
