Oddly enough, I have just dug it out to stick on later as I haven’t played it this century. I only bought it because at the time all my records were at my parents house back in Cheshire.

I had an interview the next day at British Aerospace, so they paid for my rail fare from Cheshire and I stayed the night with my sister at the nurses home at Guy's Hospital. All worked out well.

My ancient LP copy has become almost unplayable. I recently found a CD copy in the BHF shop to replace it and guess what? It's unplayable!

It was after finishing A levels and before university and we were huge fans of Marillion and Tull. It even coincided with Magnum’s best album. One of the last programmes I bought:

The last of their studios albums that I bought on vinyl. I didn’t have any problem getting a cd copy a year or so ago - perhaps it was the last copy!
