I would have been very surprised if the image processing on the graphics hardware would not have been faster than any CPU-based approach. It is, however, surprising at what cost that comes from a multiplatform point of view 😱🫣.

First they should resolve the confusion between github.com/Kotlin/kotli... and github.com/JetBrains/ko.... I prefer the later because it is much more capable.
I am also eagerly waiting for the component model to be able to more easily integrate software written in other languages into Kotlin/Wasm.
