Today marked the final day of our Vietnam adventure before we head to Taiwan tomorrow. We began with a stroll through a floating market, then returned to Saigon for a visit to a Chinese temple and capped the evening with a comforting plate of Japanese curry.

Today marked the final day of our Vietnam adventure before we head to Taiwan tomorrow. We began with a stroll through a floating market, then returned to Saigon for a visit to a Chinese temple and capped the evening with a comforting plate of Japanese curry.

On the 25th we boarded boats of different sizes to navigate the broad and narrow waterways of the Mekong Delta. In the evening we checked into our hotel in Cần Thơ.

21st/22nd we spent in Hoi An, doing some slow paced sight-seeing, getting some tailored clothing made and prepared for the last part of our trip: South Vietnam and the Mekong Delta.

21st/22nd we spent in Hoi An, doing some slow paced sight-seeing, getting some tailored clothing made and prepared for the last part of our trip: South Vietnam and the Mekong Delta.

just arrived back in Hanoi on the night train from Sapa. Too many impressions to share on our time in Sapa, will do a Foto dump later. Now breakfast and on to Halong Bay, where we are going to spend some time on a ship

After lunch we visited a Buddhist/taoist pagoda. Dinner at The Taj (Indian restaurant). Tonight we are taking the sleeper train to Sapa. Adventure ahead! (I like trains! 💕)

Today we had a day of free (unplanned) time. We did some chores and then went for Mani- & pedicure. Then we walked the city and found a really hip & fancy place for lunch.
