Congratulations! Have always enjoyed the CHRISTMAS LECTURES (as per the article, I noticed that CHRISTMAS LECTURES must be in capitals)

"...and that was Mister Sharpe learning to think"

Lovely. Always thought it was an odd place to put a shopping centre though...

Shirley you're not serious

Nope! Other than the devil's grain (wheat), three days after Use By is a no. Best Before? Knock yourself out

Quite right. At least a Google search gives you multiple hits and you can choose the links you want to open and check references, bias etc. If Google gave one "hit" and had a 48% chance of being wrong, it would have been thrown in the garbage decades ago

Do they need to.... Learn to think?!
August 29, 2025 at 8:52 PM

It's a riveting journey into how NOT to synthesise an organic compound made by microscopic organisms living on some Japanese sea slugs that may or may not have anti-cancer properties

I was in Ludlow on Sunday - on Tower Street there's a flower shop whose owner has a mini wire haired (also) called Bertie! You should pop in and say hi 🥰
August 12, 2025 at 8:43 PM
Bertie has his sheep - but it's not corduroy

20 minutes south of you and it absolutely battered it down - literally seconds after walking the dog

Wants to turn into Popeye?!

We needed HDMI ARC so had to be the Beam. The Ray has optical connector only (but I think you can get adaptors). The Dolby Atmos is a bonus too. I waited until it was £100 off in a sale as I am a cheapskate ;-)
