i tried that, astro messes with style tags wherever they are and moves things around during build

yeah the issue i’m running into is that is:global styles from my index page are getting rendered BEFORE my global.css file import which has my layer definitions in it (as it should). i don’t really want to declare layers in every page component. id rather just do it once in global.css

i’m curious if the label of an optgroup is stylable directly? haven’t tested yet just researching but i don’t see anything leading me to think that optgroup labels can’t be styled

to be styled alongside regular options. do you know if there’s new capability for them or if there’s a plan to add optgroup styling sometime in the future as well?
