Holding hands and throwing stones.
Star Trek was interesting for a moment (wood and carpets??) but now the new shows are just standard Hollywood sci-fi set dressing and computer interfaces and whatnot

Given the Canadian WW1 and WW2 and modern military history we’re indoctrinated with in school (“we became a country at Ypres” etc) let’s just add that education total to the military % and call it a day

I may be an outlier, but as a millennial renter I would absolutely move for a Vienna style development where a long-term, rent-controlled, amenity-filled, public housing option was available for me to have secure housing for the next 20 years

This is a good excuse to remind everyone of one of my favourite interactive experiences, from 2012, Bear71 (VR not required). It’s about data collection of wildlife in the rockies, dangers of grain spills on rail tracks, our responsibility to protect nature, etc. Bear71vr.nfb.ca

FYI "The Game Awards" is a ridiculously commercial enterprise, an advertising event more interested in showing trailers for upcoming games (that pay hundreds of thousands for the privilege) than recognizing the talent of developers. Anyway, I could go on but it's sad that this is the Oscars of games
