I accept it - not arguing that. It doesn't "have to be Musk," but it appears that the targeted campaigns that he's purported to have supported (with money and data) helped convince additional, malleable voters that they didn't want her. I am intrigued by, and want to learn from, those strategies.

Let's redirect this to gaining a full understanding of the (fair) loss. Of particular interest to me are the campaigns/messaging that Musk supported - the ones that spurred the increase in split tickets in crucial states.

Yes, but Trump has always had that tendency. It's his "personality." Aging makes many people more crotchety - doesn't require dementia.

“Somebody said to me 'Alina, would you rather be smart or pretty?' and I said 'Oh easy, pretty… I can fake being smart'."

Let us not forget her remarkable wisdom.

Sarah Palin was ignorant but prescient. Here, we have the Death Panel - Kennedy's ACIP.

Whoa. You used way too many big words in that post! You can't expect Tracy to understand any of this.

Principle? Really, NPR? Do better.

Kennedy's ACIP is now featuring the Trumpian blame game and its favorite targets.

I think we are going to be disappointed and horrified by another decision to support Trump's dismantling of our democracy.

Will Cassidy join you in this demand? After all, he holds substantial responsibility for this crisis.

PBS: Your lede here really should begin with: "Ignoring decades of evidence demonstrating safety and importance ... "

Also to the media: please stop referring to him as a "vaccine skeptic." He is a science denier, a conspiracy theorist, an anti-vaccine activist and many other things. He is also unqualified and disqualified for the position he holds.

Excellent framing. They handed him a political victory. They did not serve justice. They are not "supreme" in the ways intended.
December 4, 2025 at 11:49 PM
Well, it's not much of a salve, but let's appreciate the resurrection of the term "nincompoop."

Someone forgot to take out the trash. The Oval Office is a mess.

Would also be helpful if media called it when they saw it.
