Yes, if you mean treated badly.
Proteinuria is a surrogate endpoint. In genetic form of kidney disease lowering proteinuria doesn’t equal kidney survival. Also eGFR, results at 2 yy are a short follow up to assess anything that can be relevant. Unfortunately, IMO, these are only aestethic results

As always, benefits are more difficult to demonstrate in patients who are “not doing so badly,” such as those with an EF >40%. It would be interesting to classify patients according to LVOT VTI and see whether any clinically significant differences emerge

Association is not causation, but interesting finding. Now, two questions. First, Do people who live near plastic-free ocean have less cardiovascular risk? Second, removing plastic from plastic-rich oceans reduce that risk?
