My Bleuette dolls like to play. Watch for posts of their activities. They are reproduction French dolls, with bisque heads and composition bodies. The dolls they represent were produced in France for a 1905-1960, by a Children’s Magazine called LSDS.
Molly is dressed up like a bumble bee. Her costume is an altered Muffy Vanderbear o/f made to fit her. She is so happy she has been busy enjoying the garden!

Loretta is modeling a dress made from a cloth napkin. It was made to resemble a dress in the Gaultier-Languereau 1942-46 catalog, during the WWII years. At that time the LSDS (Les Semaine de Suzette) suspended its publications.

Loretta is modeling #41 1905, a beautiful lavender striped Coat with Buttons, and #11 1905, a Beret with feather trim to match, from patterns in the French Children’s magazine LSDS. These pattern’s were from the first year of publication.
