Andrew Young drilling down on the Black experience in this country as intersected with Jimmy Carter. Young descendant of the enslaved. Carter the descendant of enslavers. Recalling the racism of Sumter County, and how even though Jimmy Carter grew up there, he did not let the racism grow up in him.
