I'm a blue dot in a red state. I'm actually thinking the 37% is too low. It's so discouraging and I'm at a point of believing that nothing will change until this man leaves the planet. And then it will take a generation or two to repair the damage they have caused.

My first thought on hearing of the Pope's death was "isn't it awfully suspect that he dies after shaking hands with JD Vance?" but in all deference to the Pope, it's amazing he survived through the pneumonia.

My daughter and son-in-law have drank the Kool Aid. They told me that half the country voted for Trump and the rest of us need to get over it. After all the chaos this week they still think he is amazing. It's all I can do to not tell her what an idiot they are.
