Detroit Power Detroit Community Outreach Center (W. Chicago Rd./Westbrook) is being ordered to close by the city, citing a zoning issue. Residents state the needed paperwork has been sitting on the city's desk since April, 2024, but the city is trying to force residents out in less than three days.

Zül-Qarnain Nantambu showed tremendous courage waving a Sudanese-Palestine flag during the Super Bowl halftime show. Police held him overnight, but could not invent a charge that would stick, so he's home free with a lifetime ban from NFL stadiums.
