I'll figure something out in that regard, thanks for the suggestion...

Also, the game itself is WAY better than its reputation would lead you to believe! For a licensed game from that era, the controls are solid, it looks and sounds the part, and the situations you find yourself in wouldn't feel out-of-place in the show! Good attention to detail too!

That would be Beavis & Butthead on Super Nintendo for me.
I was too young for the show (I was born in the 90s after all), but my dad was a big fan, so I got to watch some VHS tapes of it, and this game was something we could bond over, given his interest in the show, and my love for the console ^^

A lot of my *Actual* faves were never gonna make the list anyway, so order aside (SM64, OOT and SMW are still GOAT) that ended up being mostly just my favourite 'kinda-popular' games.

I imagine this will have a MASSIVE Nintendo bias, so I kept that in mind and picked games I think deserve all the votes they can get.

I also ordered them in such a way that the Nintendo games I DID pick were towards the bottom, so more points would go to the rest.

IIRC, they rendered the movie twice back in the day, once for the cinemas, and a 2nd time in 4:3, re-framing every scene, for the VHS release.
The VHS cut is how I remember it.

I'll take yumekawaii ultra-femme yuri instead, but I'm cool with the rest uwu

They wouldn't localise them at all because they're all female.
They'd probably replace them with Sonic, Kirby or Yoshis...
Scrap that, not Sonic because they'd never show up on a Mega Drive game.

How many 80s TV anime really have an enduring legacy?
Dragon Ball, Urusei Yatsura...

The 90s had A LOT more cultural icons, Sailor Moon, Ranma, Cardcaptor Sakura, Yu Yu Hakusho, Evangelion, Pokemon, Digimon, One Piece (barely), Lain, Cowboy Bebop, Detective Conan...

The golden age of OVAs maybe, TV anime was a whole other kettle of fish...

As for the 2010s and current cartoons, frankly, I'm not sure I'm even qualified to judge, I wasn't a kid anymore after the 2000s, and cartoons just don't hit the same when you've grown up...
