Once-loyal Poilievre supporters have been calling for him to resign over the issue.

That’s not necessarily good news for Liberals either. Several Liberal MPs told me they want Poilievre to remain as leader because he’s so unpopular with their constituents, that helps them win.

I’ve asked Poilievre’s team about the ostriches but they have ignored my emails, going back to July.

Even though both Doug Ford + Danielle Smith have answered them, expressing support for the birds.

Mark Carney has also refused to talk about it.
