Oof, watch that knee Declan. It was swollen up like a balloon two days ago.

I hadn’t seen that angle. It was an even better goal than I thought. From my seat, it looked like a graceful shot but a fairly easy chance.

Agree with this - especially the second part.

Something that’s really notable this season is players missing a match or two before coming back. Last year we were probably playing them until they broke completely and losing them for months.

When I read he’d injured his knee against Brighton, this tackle jumped straight into my head.

This would make a tiny bit more sense if the own goals were just defenders hoofing it into their own net with gay abandon. They all went in as a result of enormous pressure - doesn’t that tell its own story?

I don’t really listen to other instant reactions but I think Arsenal Vision gets it about right. It fully acknowledges that it is an instant emotional reaction and not the place for fully considered views. I like to have something to listen to on the way home that isn’t Sky Sports.

I do think this team is about to set fire (in a good way). With a tiny bit of luck in the other direction, yesterday could have been 5-0. I think someone soon (hopefully Villa) is going to be on the end of a sound beating.

Yes! It’s exhausting. I love having all the content to consume but there’s part of me wants to watch the match and then forget about it for a few days until the next one.

Aaaaaahhhh! Yeah, I originally thought he had double allegiance when I first saw his handle.

Oi! What’s wrong with Clive? Argyle fan and Arsenal season ticket holder here. He’s one of the most knowledgeable and likeable people in the football world? And his handle references Argyle. What’s not to like?

Mentally tired seems right. Players just taking that split second longer to make decisions.

Just ordered the print as an entirely selfish purchase. This can go right to the back of the queue - definitely not needed for Christmas. Thank you so much.

Wow! I used to live very close to Fenny Bridges and then moved near to Huish Episcopi. Thanks for sharing.

It’s easy to be cynical about football clubs in the community but it really makes a difference.

I used to go to a pitch near Archway, for a kickabout. Often there would be a group of young lads there with someone from Arsenal in the Community. Their entire role was to just be there overseeing games. Nothing formal - they told us that if they weren’t there, all those lads would be in gangs.

It’s a warning from history. Keep it there forever and be thankful.

These are beautiful. I can’t really explain why but I suppose that’s how art works. Why does it say Norton Fitzwarren? (I grew up near Taunton)

Most of Home Park is new now. Definitely agree on the other two though. Two of my favourite grounds.

As a Plymouth Argyle fan, and Arsenal season ticket holder (and patron) I will just about forgive you for confusing Plymouth and Portsmouth. But only because I love you guys.
December 10, 2025 at 7:38 PM
Yes! That’s the right word. They’re a joy to watch together
