Showing the Jedi as flawed and short sighted, even Luke, was interesting. I also liked the idea Rey might have been special BECAUSE she wasn't. But the Mouse got cold feet and that was wasted.

The powers that be are trying to get rid of the "useless eaters" in North America. "Letting them die" isn't the same as "killing them". They'll say "we just gave them the choice." I'm sorry to everyone going through this.
