I am weirdly optimistic in one angle though: I think LLMs esp in image and text generation are mostly used by people who are *not concerned* by the quality of their work, thus the increasing sloppification of the internet.

I think it will drive people back into actual artisans with taste :)

and sadly i guess it means like anything, there's going to be people who use it to the detriment of other people for their own gain 😔.

And I don't mean "get a first generation from LLM and do small touch ups", I mean, do the other things that you hate: make data categorization automatic, for example.

I think like anything it is a tool, one that you can use to substitute yourself or one you can use to support yourself.

I've had a similar experience not even using the word AI/LLM but using the word "automate".

I get it. I write poems, I draw, I design for a living. No way do I want tech to replace that in any capacity. But there *are* things that LLM can be used for that doesn't negate creativity but supports it
