Its been a long time since I have bothered to engage in anyway with star wars discourse online for the same reason. Anything you say thats not hate will have someone or someones coming out of the woodwork to mansplain or talk shit about how you're wrong or failed.

This is something ive been feeling for awhile. I spent 13 years as a QA Eng testing all sorts of tech, and it was so exhausting pretending that whatever future e waste we were working on was some cool thing thatll actually sell.

The ships shouldnt be out there period. With that aside from what Ive read this is more or less just exhaustion from the crew at this point. Their tour has been extended and theyve been under constant fire the entire time. Meaning the crew is completely spent, and making mistakes as any person would

I really think he hates the cancel culture stuff so much, because hes fucking terrified of it happening to him. The shit he used to do along with Corolla on the Kevin and Bean show back in the 90s was crazy, and hes lucky its somehow not gotten him.

I would take spring from several G2s, put them into a single pen and launch the ever living shit out of the ink cart. One time i did it in the middle of history class, the ink cart launched straight up and got stuck in the ceiling. My teacher proceeded to attack me with a broom. Good times.

This is the right answer. Also nevermind the fact the person downloading it is likely using it for their own consumption, whereas these companies are using it for AI, which they will continue to make money from.

I think I may finally switch this year, the only thing thats prevented me, is trying to teach my 89 years old grandmother how to use another app.

I have 3 cats, each one needs their water in a dif way. Shemarr needs flowing water always, also dripping water to regularly bathe. Sadie needs fresh cold water from the dispenser and needs to see you do it. Aloy is a gremlin and will drink from anything and the other cats opulence is strange to her

There was a story at a video game publisher that i worked for, that at the end of the project they threw a giant party at a rented out bowling alley. Once everyone had arrived the VP of QA showed up and thanked everyone for their hard work, and that the services of all present were no longer needed

God this explains so much. Like I loved the movie but as a kid always hated how it was a movie more or less about characters i didnt know? So i think in my head it was always this weird one off movie that didnt fit anywhere else.

One of my favorite stories from my grandfather is how the people in his unit during the korean war, convinced the guy from the deep south that the horns only come out at night. It came up because the his approached the other guys in the unit specifically asking about where the horns were
