It’s not as bad during the day. But at night, it’s scary. And it’s right near the airport, so high likelihood of clueless drivers over there.

It’s frustrating bc it shouldn’t be this hard to get something that is potentially life threatening fixed.

These lanes are even confusing for me who knows how these roads operate. So I’m not that judgy. But the city needs to fix it instead of these confusing temp mess. So I added it to the whole ticketing system. It’s been 3 weeks. Nothing. I see about 5-6 near accidents every time I go out over there.

I reported hazardous driving conditions bc work crews didn’t properly mark roadway lanes and stupid people were stupid and doing all kinds of shit. But also, if you’re not from these area, you wouldn’t just know to do xyz bc it makes no sense.

Like bad flooding bc the leaves clog up everything.

I saw so many of these doom piles in front of fire hydrants tonight. Actually blocking access. These aren’t little piles. It would definitely slow down firefighters. I almost want to report the people doing this, but the city seems to not GAF.

These people are so self absorbed and just terrible at driving that I don’t think they realize they could die doing this shit.

So I get back behind her. (I had to turn in like 6 blocks).

She then goes back to 15 as soon as I do that. Finally get to my intersection. I get in the turn lane. She’s green. The minute I’m in my turn lane, she slams on her brakes and almost gets rear ended.

Had another person driving on the expressway tonight. Going 15 in a 50. I go into the other lane to get around her. Then proceed to accelerate to get back in that lane. She suddenly decides to drive the speed limit—blocking me from going around.

This seems to bring out this almost panic situation for some drivers. Had one guy in front of me going 10 in a 45. He just stops and doesn’t more. I honk bc he’s blocking my turn and he just ignores it then the minute I try to go around, he turns.

Tonight, it’s raining. It’s challenging driving here bc the streets are a mess and everything is always poorly lit. Then you have people who can’t go the speed limit (in both directions) and also drive with their brights on. (Some with more than one pair). It’s crazy.

Are there tutorials or classes to learn how to custom-tailor your own clothing?

I have a sewing machine somewhere, and I actually did sew when I was younger (albeit mostly school pillow projects and simple mending-type projects). I've always wanted to make more pillows and even a quilt. I'd love to make clothing too. But yea--clothing that fits would be rad.

Mostly bc "normal" people are morons with the obliviousness of 1 million Kardashians, even after a global fucking pandemic that killed so damn many. I guess that's just the American way--to assume you're bulletproof as the entire everything falls apart.

And we wonder why this is our country now.

I've seen it up close. I don't need to get those things because I want to sit in a cool restaurant or watch a movie with strangers.

So, it's frustrating that our healthcare facilities and government leaders give no fucks about any of our health.

I would have driven 100 miles to avoid going into an old, poorly ventilated facility with unmasked people.

But now I probably picked up strep and whatever the fuck else all because I wanted to avoid being sick or dying.

The only time I've really been around people was when I got the shots this year. There were some teens there. Until last year, even before COVID, they offered a drive-up option where you could avoid this kind of thing. That all stopped bc we don't care about people.

I was going to go to the doctor tomorrow, but my boss scheduled some random meeting, so that will have to wait.

Not sure if it's related to the weird cravings or anything else. But I just feel very old right now.

I'm at the point where I'm legit just passing out the moment I get horizontal. I can't even watch anything right now because I will fall asleep.

I also think I might have strep throat for the first time since childhood. It started with a painful tonsil (my left one).
