Norway is a kind of Socialist Democracy / Capitalism hybrid that works. The US is a Hard Capitalist Democracy-of-sorts. The UK is becoming very much the same thing. Though it used to be a moderately Capitalist society.
The USA has no left wing, just a centralist-right and hard-right.

Some do, people with higher incomes, the aged with low ongoing costs. most from company schemes. I know zero people who pay themselves
As someone who has had a number of surgeries, mainly NHS but some private, I'd never waste money or time on any private healthcare again. Their heart was not in it.
