and some small ones too - newburgh have been campaigning over 15 years for a small station for the village & surrounding area. It did have a train station that was shut down in the early sixties. trains pass daily from perth to edinburgh. A small station would contribute positively to the village.

of what the numbers are. TS & the transport minister are actually fearties with all of this because it could be change that would be out of their control or comfort zone. Hence inertia. There seems to be a lack of real vision by certain organisations. Therefore its a sad state of affairs.

there is opportunity across Scotland for new (reopen) train stations outside the central belt. Newburgh should be one of them adding to economic growth / business opportunities and education. The reopened Northumberland line again connecting into Newcastle highlights again the underestimation
