had a fun girls night with friends from uni i hadn't seen since starting my internship yesterday, but halfway through the night i got a really bad stomach ache and had to leave early (still had to drive home and it was the worst 1.5 hours of my life) but really said my girls night was cut short :(

my internship is located in this beautiful building at the amsterdam canals. truly a beautiful and old building, howeverrr... that does mean it isn't really insulated and it just so cold inside i've been shivering all day

hi everyone, long time no see... i've been having a really hard time with the passing of my grandma and it's been really hard to go back to my normal life and i've been stopping myself from coming on here and posting on here because it feels like me moving on, which is ridiculous but i can't help it

when they said "taylor plays the surprise songs you need" they really weren't lying, i just didn't know at the time just how much i needed to hear taylor sing those words
i know labyrinth is supposed to be a song about love/lost (romantic) love, but hearing taylor sing "it only hurts this much right now" gives me so so much comfort, i've been rewatching my eras tour video from when i got it as a surprise song over and over and over

i have been going through all my mom's old photo albums to collect pictures of my grandma for the funeral and it's been so nice seeing her life through these photo's. she was so beautiful, and had so much wanderlust and loved life. i find it so hard to really realise she's gone
