Maybe combine that with The Death of Ivan Ilyich, i also know the plot and importance but i feel like these emotions come together and it’s not that long.

Oh i love this so much!! it makes me remember that short story, I’ve no mouth and i must scream. It’s sci-fi classic. really cool art!!
