I suspect it’s a market problem, because it doesn’t sound technically difficult but probably there’s just no profit in it, nobody’s gonna pick between two different microwaves based on that

The internet is not the only way to get time signals. The most obvious alternative is GPS. But I doubt anybody is going to manufacture a cheap GPS quartz clock module
