I think the closest thing humanity has to a universal moral law, regardless of creed or faith, is "children are precious and deserve to be protected". Gaza is home to the largest cohort of child amputees in modern history. We can't look away, we need to be sounding the alarm. This is genocide.
We need to heed the promptings of love and truth in our hearts and speak up now. We believe that genocide is underway in Gaza.
We use this word with the aim of opening eyes, minds and hearts. We use it in the deep hope that the actions it describes will stop.
