Unfortunately, I think this is one time where DOGE wasn’t the true cause.
The FAA knew dropouts were possible while considering all possibilities (as reported by the Air Current) but moving to the Philly Tracon was the best option.
Ultimately this is the FAA dragging their feet with modernization.

I wish Southwest would actually enforce the carryon/ personal item bag size.
So much time wasted from people trying to shove big bags into small bins.
The Max-7 still not being certified makes things worse as the -700s have such tiny bins.
