I was able to determine when my phone is in DND (Do Not Disturb) mode at night that the audible for the alert is blocked. I made changes in the DND settings to allow the sound.

My father drove a Bren Gun carrier like in your photo through Italy and the Netherlands with the Royal Canadian Regiment. 2 of his brothers were in the navy. We can see the glow of the USA across Lake Erie and wonder if our next battle will be on our beaches.

Someone should write a book about this topic 🤔.

I don't let what people do (or say that they would do) surprise me anymore. They elected Trump, and many here are sucked in by PP's 3 word slogans and really believe that they will be better off without the carbon pricing and rebate.

That's a great idea, but I would have to drive 15km to the nearest store to get the paper. I have online paid accounts with the G&M and NYT. I'm sure that the article is great and I'll try the library method that others have mentioned.
