One of the cool things on Mastodon is the mute function.

When someone's being a dick you can mute them for a while (or forever) so that if they continue to be a dick you don't have to see it! Even if they include your handle!

Fiancé's family doesn't do traditional Christmas gifts, instead choosing to do a Secret Santa so you only have to buy one thing.

In my work, "nm" means nautical miles.

In my current science module, "nm" means nanometres.
