or maybe i’m reading too into things and they put too many characters into the season 1-2, a problem they definitely saw cause BCS does not have this problem and every major character contributes

skyler’s her own character, objectively. tiktok “sigma males” won’t let me forget about that. but marie feels like so little of a character i feel like it’s on purpose, like it’s a sort of analogy on how wives are nothing outside their husbands in fucked up nuclear family world in walt’s head

maybe it’s just been a while and it does further the plot but i really don’t remember those scenes going literally anywhere, they legit feel like they came out of a different show

it kind of feels like with how fast and loosely written BB was, they had a plan for her character at some point, wrote it out and then just picked a grab bag and went “yeah let’s just squeeze in a random buncha scenes where she steals from open houses so she stays important to the story i guess”
