I hope they find a new place close by. The work they do in that location is especially important for everyone that they serve, and even more so as food insecurity continues to grow.

There was another woman in the next block who told me that the neighbors in the house closest to the church haven't been back since May 16 & no one knows what they'll do. Even she wasn't sure if she wanted to or would be able to stay in her own family home.

I talked to the owners of the 4 family on the right the Thursday after the tornado hit. They were packing to leave then, had no idea where they were going & I don't think they've been back since. I worry that story is being repeated w/a lot of their neighbors. 💔
