As one never knows when your research will see the light as a published article, I find it better (and healthier) to celebrate the end of the analysis-writting process.

Es siempre una alegría reencontrarse con viejos conocidos.

Los 8 galápagos europeos que habitan esta laguna los capturé y marqué en 2022. Todos los años desde entonces nos volvemos a encontrar.

Aquatic macrophytes disappeared in Doñana ponds more than a month ago. Strange, but perhaps a consequence of heatwaves.

Anyway, Dulce (permanent pond) is one of the few that still gather macrophytes, and it was a surprise to find there my second Najas marina ever in the pond system.

All PhD dissertations need a Figure 1. My study area is Doñana National Park, and never before its >3000 ponds had been represented in a map.

This ecological map in A1 size comes to cover that gap. And also that no full maps of Doñana have been done in circa 30 years.
