He (Antipodes of Gaea)'s an underappreciated playwright. We only have fragments but to me they read like Howard Hawks. And the Medea/Media wordplay? Still funny if you let it be--remember, like Shakespeare, people think it's hackneyed only because they have no sense of history/provenance.

Re: Alcatraz... There's already a brutal(ist) but modern Colorado supermax with some empty/mothballed buildings but this guy thinks in terms of movie tropes. What a yutz.
