An excellent article about The Hobbit adventure game developed in the 80s by Melbourne House. Written by Veronika M. Megler. The Hobbit was implemented in assembler, provided non-deterministic gameplay, a full-sentence "inglish" parser and line graphics + more. web.archive.org/web/20180315...
