i've tried learning mandarin too, tonal languages are SO hard, i kinda gave up but learning japanese kinda makes me curious about the original characters meanings and all

i feel you, i think this is the main reason i'm so insecure about my spanish. i grew up w/ uruguayan variant but since it's such a small percentage of people using it i'm always confused abt pronunciation and slang use...

if one day you're done with spanish, pls consider portuguese!! it's a very fun and interesting language

ohhhh that's actually nice to read!! idk if i talk much differently from other people but in brazil some states have more slangs than others so it can be hard to grasp meanings (i live in rio rn and i'm still learning a lot of words and slangs i've never heard before)
