I have served as a Soldier in the U.S. Army, as a USBP Agent patrolling the U.S. southwestern border, as a Special Agent at USDOJ and DHS-HSI. In 1984, I remember voting by absentee ballot for Ronald Reagan sitting on a bunk in my barracks. Our loyalty is to the Constitution. Not to a demagogue.

John Adams said, "Facts are stubborn things, and whatever may be our wishes, our inclinations, or the dictates of our passions, they cannot alter the state of facts and evidence.” Citizens of the U.S. need to remember this. The truth matters. Decency matters. The Constitution matters.
