Wonderful article. The prairie restoration that is happening across state is inspiring. Along with Burlington Prairie, in Illinois there is Nachusa, Midewin and Kankakee Sands in Indiana. Watching the buffalo roam and hearing the rustling grasses is magical. All are with 90 minutes of Chicago.

I do subscribe to both newspapers in Chicago, @chicago.suntimes.com and @chicagotribune.com plus the @nytimes.com Along with those several magazines including @theatlantic.com . I don’t want to sound like a freeloader but felt that this is a critical moment for our nation.
