Former Ottawa Senators forward Filip Chlapik scored the winning goal as Sparta Prague eliminated Canada from the Spengler Cup hockey tournament with a 5-1 quarterfinal win Monday.

So glad that they kept this annual tradition. In the rapidly evolving world of sports media content, adding a friendly layer of depth to the people behind the scenes in an informal, festive format adds so much to the massive ecosystem of how we interact with sports.

So glad that they kept this annual tradition. In the rapidly evolving world of sports media content, adding a friendly layer of depth to the people behind the scenes in an informal, festive format adds so much to the massive ecosystem of how we interact with sports.
Love various components of this, and the Sportsplex needs updating, but we need more data regarding ice use before concluding if a 2nd sheet is needed. When the Sportsplex opened in 1997, there were two sheets, but people didn't want to go inside in the summer, so they fully converted it to soccer.
