Do we think China will do this? I rather doubt it. A lot of Bitcoin is mined in IRAN. They are going to allow Crypto Bros to sell to the US gov, cash out, and the country will be left with a pile of Hashes, with the currency controlled by miners and Whales.

A plausible explanation for the Europe-bashing Marc Andreessen engages in (given his company has invested in European AI startups) is that it's political. He's a smart man. So he knows he's pushing the "Overton window" to make the EU de-regulate in ways favourable to his company / investments.

There are two ways for Democrats to appeal to Latinos and Right-wing Christians, both key to this election: Liberation Theology and the Jesus Movement. Both were a countercultural embrace of Christianity. Both emphasized social justice, economic equality, and political activism.

Well-placed sources tell me that Musk’s antics have “gone down like a BUCKET OF SICK” with the UK Labour government. A lot of potential responses are being discussed. Meanwhile, a large number of global advertising agencies, on which X relies on for ad revenues, are - guess what - based in the UK.
